Menomonee Falls, Wi August 18,2107 An early morning ribbon cutting announced the opening of a new Menomonee Falls location for TJMaxx, and awarded a ten thousand dollar donation to HOPE Network, Inc. of Menomonee Falls for their cribs for kids program.
“TJMaxx is on a mission to help families and children that need it most build a valuable future,” explained store manager, Janel Marchant. The early morning ceremony drew a crowd of loyal customers, several representatives from local law enforcement, and regional store personnel. Music amped up the crowd as eager shoppers roamed the aisles hunting for $25 gift cards.
“We are thrilled to accept this generous donation,” said HOPE’s Executive Director, Rachel Sciortino, “TJMaxx customers and HOPE Network mothers are one and the same, so our goals are perfectly aligned. We look forward to collaborating with TJMaxx in the future.” The funds will be used to purchase cribs and promote the program to underserved populations, added Sciortino.
HOPE Network is dedicated to helping single mothers provide a safe, nurturing place for their babies. The program provides a portable crib, safe sleep training, and infant supplies to single mothers, as well as additional support services such as clothing banks, resources and scholarships.
HOPE Network is a nonsectarian nonprofit support network providing emotional, educational and material support to single pregnant women and mothers in greater Milwaukee. HOPE’s services give single mothers a sense of community, enhance their parenting skills and excourage self-reliance. The nonprofit was founded in 1982 by Gail Grenier sweet.
