The following events will be offered at the Germantown Senior Center:
• “Learn to Wood Carve”–Friday, Dec. 12, 9 to 11:30 a.m.: Come and learn the basics of woodcarving taught by local artist and author police chaplain Greg Young. Bring a carving or filleting glove. Fees are $26 for res., $37 for sch. dist. res. and non.res. • The Golden Tones–Thursday, Dec. 18, 10 to 11 a.m.: The public is invited for a morning of festive singing.
• Trip to Fireside Dinner
Theater–Thursday, Jan. 29: The Germantown Seniors will be taking a day trip to the Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson to see the Fireside’s Live Band led by Steve Watts present “The Sensational Seventies.” The cost is $102.
Tour includes Deluxe Motor coach transportation, a luncheon, premium seating and services of a tour manager. Pick up is at 9 a.m. at the Germantown McDonald’s; group will return at approximately 5:30 p.m. Reservation deadline is Jan. 15. For reservations, call the Senior Center . Full payment is due at time of reservation.
