Battery

Menomonee Falls Police Department• A 42-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for battery and criminal damage to property July 18 in the 17300 block of St. Thomas Drive following an altercation with his live-in girlfriend. During the incident, the man threw the woman’s phone and damaged the wall and refrigerator.

Drug possession

• A male subject was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance at 1:10 a.m. July 15 following a traffic stop at Highway 41 and Main Street. Marijuana was found in the man’s vehicle.
• A 24-year-old Milwaukee man and a 24-year-old Glendale man were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at 12:53 a.m. July 15 following a traffic stop at Longwood Street and Tamarack Trail. Marijuana and a pipe were found in the suspect vehicle.

Operating while intoxicated

• A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated-second offense, operating with a prohibited alcohol content, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating after revocation at 5:32 a.m. July 15 in the 14000 block of Appleton Avenue. Police made contact with the man after he drove his car off the median on Appleton Avenue just south of Woosencraft Drive.
• A 37-year-old New Berlin man was cited for operating while intoxicated-first offense at 10:14 p.m. July 15 at Christopher Court and Lisbon Road. Police responded after two citizens had blocked in a possibly impaired driver.
• A 43-year-old woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated at 12:25 a.m. July 19 at Fond du Lac Avenue and Highway 145. Police responded after the woman’s two children, ages 11 and 13, passengers in the vehicle, called police to report their mother was driving under the influence. She was found to have a bloodalcohol level of .16.

Retail theft

• Two female subjects were arrested for retail theft and other offenses at 11:30 a.m. July 15 at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, July 15. Police were dispatched to the report of a theft in progress and came into contact with the two women who had stolen baby formula and earrings. One woman was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance as Oxycodone was found in her vehicle and on a warrant with Green Bay.
• Two male subjects stole $659 worth of meat and other merchandise from Pick ‘n Save, N95 W18351 County Line Road, July 15.

Theft

• An Apple i-Pod S5 was taken from a male subject at a baseball diamond at North Jr. High, N88 W16850 Garfield Drive, July 12.
• A laptop was reported stolen from an unsecured office at North Hills Country Club, N73 W13430 Appleton Avenue, July 12.
